At the end of November 2011 I was in for an awesome treat, a TIGER CRYSTAL EXCLUSIVE FOOD PAIRING SESSION on my BIRTHDAY celebration at Souled Out Ampang. At the restaurant my guests and myself were taking to a cruise of western and Northern Indian cuisine paired with an abundance of refreshingly crisp, easy to drink Tiger Crystal lager. That night at the premise was filled with enjoyment and intrigged experience.
A sip into the Tiger Crystal can be amazing, its lightness can be felt instantly. I likes the feel of the colour, bright yellow definitely an attractive chic and eye catching to my opinion, yet a sexy crisp ! . . . . equipped with delicious aroma roasted corn, honeyed graham cracker, apple skin and melon which totally complimented the food we had that night.
Delicious Lychee Mojita & Earthen Beetroot Juice
For a mouth teaser we had their delicious Lychee Mojita which was smooth in taste and burst with lime flavour while their earthen Beetroot juice came in a bold purple in colour yet taste fantastic..
Crunched inside my mouth and yet tasted fabulously. I just loved those melted cheese placed on top of the nachos while having a generous scoop of thick cream was such a blessing . . . .I can just have it all by myself. I like it, one bite one drink!
Ingeniusly Souled Out had played the Tofu so well and encapsulated it with stuffing and layered it with batter before deep frying. All the Tofu Puff came out lovely golden brown and tasted fabulously with chilli sauce, a very good deal I think!
Fried Calamari & Chicken Wings
I just loved the fried calamari, crisp outside and tenderly soft inside and having it with Tiger Crystal was just spot on. Both taste blended in so well. Chicken wings was a good pairing too with the Tiger Crystal, smooth and flavoursome.
I was shocked when I saw my beef came hanging. It was so eye catching, definitely a way to showcase the best of the best. I was amazed with such delight. It was grilled to medium and biting it was such a pleasure. I was amused with perfection.
I loved the simplicity of Aglio Olio that came topped with a march of seafood. A gave a sweet gazed at it while my salivating was playing in my mouth. I felt hungry for a second as it smells so wanting. with the sense of seeing and smelling, you know it is a refined and yet a delicious paste made! Definitely mine.
Miso Garoupa and Masala Chicken Chop
The Miso Garoupa was a light flavoured dish that strangely paired well with my bottled beer. I got to say it was refreshing. I can easily felt the bubbles lingering around my lips and mouth. The Masala Chicken Chop was pan fried till golden brown and tasted gorgeously. Something that went very well with my chilled Tiger Crystal and tasted amazingly good.
The sizzling lamb cutlet amazingly filled up the room with such a great spicy smell and everyone felt delighted. The Lamb was coated with a delicious thick curry and went well with the Naan bread. It was one of the best dishes to have and I had two bottles of Tiger Crystal to go with it.. Delicioua.
It was an awesome birthday celebration and all of us had a great time and was make possible with Tiger Crystal. . . . . . . .. . .It was a fabu;lous birthday experience, Sidney Kan
